Flagstone Patio Installation from Start to Finish

This Flagstone Patio Installation video will teach you everything that you need to know for laying stone in concrete. Go here for more free videos and tutorials: http://www.the-flagstone-experts.com/index.html

My dad has been a mason for over 40 years and he must have laid well over 1000 patios, walkways, fireplaces, benches, porches and anything else that you can think of. We show you step-by-step the exact process that he used and received thousands of dollars for. It’s great for do it yourselfers (DIY) who want to save lots of money by doing it themselves.

Watch how we cut the stone, mix the cement, tuck the joints, lay the flagstone down, clean the stone and much more. We used to charge $25 for this DVD and now you can have it for free.

I also made a new version of this video on a new Youtube channel that I started. I included some other videos for installing flagstone in concrete. You can check it out here:

Whether you’ve given a fireplace much thought or not, there are lots of decisions to be made. So many things need to be thought of so the following paragraphs will guide you through a few of the things that need to be addressed.

Where in your backyard do you want to construct your fireplace? Before you answer that question with certainty, step back and take a good look at your entire yard. By doing this you may eliminate many areas quickly for fire danger reasons. Think about which way the wind blows most of the time and imagine embers leaving your chimney in that direction. What is in the direct path? The biggest concern will be shrubs, grass, and trees that may be dry in different seasons. You probably don’t want the fireplace to be within 10-15 feet of a mature tree with lots of dry leaves still on it.
